Revit Technician
Classic Engineering is a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based consulting engineering firm established in 1998.
For over 25 years, our structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs have supported thousands of projects across Michigan, the Midwest, and nationwide. From healthcare and hospitality to residential, educational, and government buildings, our work can be found “in the bones” of nearly every type of structure.
We are seeking a Revit Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Revit skills who is eager to grow in the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to produce accurate digital models and construction documents.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (internship, or professional experience).
Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
Strong technical drawing ability and attention to detail.
Understanding of basic construction practices and principles.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting, design, construction technology, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain detailed digital models and technical drawings using Autodesk Revit.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
Develop construction-ready documents in compliance with project standards.
Update drawings and models based on design changes, RFIs, or client feedback.
Assist with establishing and improving Revit standards, families, and templates.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to support project delivery.
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with candidate experience.
Range $60,000 - $90,000 per year.
