Our Delivery Methods to Design a
Solution for Your Project

Tight budgets. Tighter schedules. The never ending squeeze of managing it all to achieve the clients' utmost satisfaction. We can appreciate and understand the pressures you face every day, because we hold ourselves to the same standard. Having worked together for more than 20 years in the construction industry, our team knows that things like accurate quotes, immediate responses and bankable results are crucial, not just to getting the job done, but to establishing and maintaining relationships as well.

In other words, the best way to take good care of your clients is to partner with a resource that will take equally good care of you.

“Rules” of Engagement: Ways to Work with Classic Engineering

Projects can engage our engineering services as a whole or “a la carte” to meet the particular needs of the client. While most of our clients are architects, we provide them with the engineering expertise that they may not have inhouse.

We see ourselves engaged with contractors for the same reason. Our engineers have benefited from working with both Design/Bid and Design/Build delivery methods. We combine current design trends with the knowledge of the trades that build or install them.

Classic is also called upon for Design/Assist work. We provide the owner and construction team with the Design/Build criteria for a particular building system.

We follow up with review of the design documents and submittals to make sure the needs of the project have been met.

Our engineers have also been engaged to provide peer review services. Using their expertise to review another engineer’s design, we give an owner another set of eyes on the design of their project.

Our strengths lie in the ability to take a building concept from dream to functional reality. To us, structure has to support form and still allow function.

Structural Engineering

In broad strokes, the role of a structural engineer involves a significant understanding of both static and dynamic loading, and the structural systems that are available to resist them. But in practice, there is so much more.
